Dear Granada Community,
The Granada Supporters will be hosting our fourth annual “Matador Mingle” (formally known as the “Black and Gold Social”) at Campo di Bocce in Livermore on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Our social events in the past have raised funds for projects such as the new sound system for the gym, new curtains for the theater and currently helping our sports, arts, and education programs with their needs which benefit our students and community.
The fun starts at 6pm. The evening includes an all-you-can-eat gourmet buffet dinner (served from 6pm until 11pm), recreational bocce, dancing, live and silent auctions, and a raffle for some awesome prizes!
The Granada Supporters Club has decided that the beneficiary from our social will be the supporters’ general fund account. This will allow teachers, sports, and clubs to come to our monthly meetings and request assistance for larger projects that are not funded, yet benefit their program and the school. In the past, we have assisted the video productions class in buying new computers for a better editing experience and the basketball teams with a “Gun X Homecourt” shooting machine, which allows both the boys and girls teams to have smoother and safer basketball practices.
